Outstanding University Application Outcomes for Riverston School KS5 Students

We are delighted to share some excellent university application outcomes achieved by our KS5 students. Their ambition, commitment, and passion for their chosen subjects have been evident throughout the application process, and we are incredibly proud of what they have accomplished so far.

Harry has applied to Brunel University, the University of Kent, Aberystwyth University, and Bishop Grosseteste University to study Military History. Having received offers from all four institutions, Harry has chosen to accept his place at Brunel University. With a long-standing interest in historical conflicts and modern history, Harry is currently studying History, Sport, and Science, and is well prepared for the next stage of his academic journey.

Monique has submitted applications to a highly competitive range of universities, including the London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of St Andrews, the University of Warwick, the University of York, and international institutions such as Sciences Po, to study Ecological Economics. She has already received a conditional offer from the University of York, with further decisions pending. Monique is currently studying Maths, Science, History, and an EPQ, and has demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainability and economic understanding through her academic work.

Shekinah has applied to study Social Work at several universities, including Essex, Greenwich, Kent, Nottingham, and Southampton Solent. She has already been invited to interview at Southampton Solent, with further responses awaited. Shekinah is motivated by a desire to support others, particularly soldiers, alongside her ambition to pursue a future career in the Army. She is currently studying Digital Media, Sports and Coaching, Health and Social Care, and an EPQ.

Saihung has applied to the University of Brighton and the University of Sussex to study Journalism. He has received a conditional offer from the University of Brighton, with a decision from Sussex still to come. Saihung is currently studying Performing Arts, Esports, Sports and Coaching, and an EPQ, and is passionate about the importance of truthful reporting and storytelling.

Summer has applied to the University of Brighton, University of the Arts London, and University College London (UCL) to study Fine Art. She has received a conditional offer from the University of Brighton and is awaiting further decisions. With art as a lifelong passion, Summer is currently studying Digital Media, Fine Art, and an EPQ, and is keen to continue developing her academic and creative skills.

Toby has applied to a range of universities including the University of Brighton, the University of Greenwich, Escape Studios, Staffordshire University, and Teesside University, focusing on Games Development and Programming. He has received conditional offers from all institutions, as well as an unconditional offer from the University of Brighton, which is a significant achievement. Toby is currently studying Digital Media, Computer Science, Maths, and an EPQ, and hopes to pursue a career within the games industry.

Jude has applied to the University of Brighton, Canterbury Christ Church University, the University of Essex, Goldsmiths, University of London, and London South Bank University to study Accounting and Finance. He has already received a conditional offer from London South Bank University, with further responses pending. Jude is currently studying English and Music, and has developed a strong interest in business and finance.

Clifford has applied to College of Esports, London South Bank University, and Ravensbourne University London to study Game Design and Development. He has received conditional offers from London South Bank University and Ravensbourne University, with one decision still to be confirmed. Clifford is currently studying Performing Arts, Esports, and Computing.

These achievements reflect the hard work, resilience, and determination of our KS5 students. We are extremely proud of their success and look forward to supporting them as they take the next exciting steps in their education and future careers.
