We’re delighted to share the latest edition of the Riverston School Weekly Newsletter, celebrating another busy and successful period across our school community.

This week’s newsletter showcases the wide range of learning opportunities, enrichment activities and student achievements that continue to make Riverston such a vibrant and inspiring place to learn.

Highlights from this edition include:

  • Year 9 Art exploring the human form through the work of Alberto Giacometti.

  • Our new Hair & Beauty Enrichment Club, where students are developing practical vocational skills and creativity.

  • Functional Maths in the community, as students put their money management skills into practice during a visit to Gail’s Bakery.

  • Hands-on Science investigations, with Year 7 exploring the fascinating topic of reflection of light.

  • Duke of Edinburgh Expedition Success, celebrating the resilience, teamwork and independence shown by our KS3 students.

  • Occupational Therapy updates, including our Form Time Programme focusing on purposeful activity and wellbeing, alongside exciting enrichment experiences at Activate.

  • Student achievements and celebrations, from passing driving tests to sporting celebrations and end-of-year reflections.

  • Early Years updates, important school dates, community opportunities and information for parents and carers.

At Riverston School, we are incredibly proud of our students’ achievements, both inside and outside the classroom. Every experience helps to develop confidence, independence and the skills needed for future success, and this edition highlights just how much our students continue to accomplish.
