Nursery & Early Years
Riverston Nursery & Early Years Department operates a full day programme for children aged 9 months to 4 years old. Full time hours are from 8.00am until 6.00pm, Monday to Friday for 49 weeks of the year.
Children can attend for 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week.
Term time only attendance which is offered either full or part time basis.
We follow the national Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
The day begins with a free play session where the children are encouraged to use a variety of equipment and resources. Each room in the Early Years department has a computer, role play area, sand and water facilities and an easel for the children to enjoy free art activities.
The timetable also offers many physical activities; the children enjoy regular trips to the park, movement to music, sport and gymnastic sessions, and access to Riverston School’s own Forest School.
