Not too long ago Ms Williams had taken some of our Year 7 students to Euro Cafe in Lee as part of an ASDAN lesson.
Before leaving for their visit, students were tasked with understanding which route they would take to get to the cafe. Following their route, rest assured, they arrived safely in tow with teachers supervising. The purpose of their visit was to enable students to take responsibility of their own money and to pay for their items. Not only that, they were excellent role models in the local community, representing each one of our school’s values. Ordering their choice of food politely, improving their communication and social skills with key workers at the cafe.
We hope to see more trips like these again soon!
